Driving pleasure in Madrid!

The speed limit is 50 km / h on the main roads in and around Madrid, 90 km / h on the country roads and 120 km / h on the motorways. The border is reduced to 20 km / h in residential areas and near schools.

Parking on the street in Madrid can be difficult and it is recommended to avoid the center and outside parks. Paid parking is applied in areas with blue signs or signs between 09:00 - 20:00 Monday-Friday and between 09:00 - 15:00 on Saturday. Throughout August, paid parking is between 09:00 and 15:00 from Monday to Saturday. Maximum accommodation in these areas is two hours, but multi-storey car parks offer longer stays.
